Cafe Latte Energy Bites

Because Protein Snacks Shouldn't Be Gross....
vegan shakeology, vegan shakeology recipes, cafe latte shakeology, cafe latte shakeology recipe, vegan cafe latte shakeology, sarah griffith, shakeology recipes,
I have tried many many recipes for protein bites and balls and cookies and typically I think they taste super gross. This recipe is hands down the best I have made. We ate way too many in one sitting and they are all already gone. I wanted to use the new vegan cafe latte shakeology that I had on hand and wanted to do more than just turn it into a shake. It takes less than five minutes to make and is made up of lots of healthy ingredients.

Try it out if you need a sweet fix for your late night cravings. I like to keep mine in the fridge. They taste best cold.

Ingredients
  • ¼ cup chopped peanuts (unsalted)
  • ½ cup dry old-fashioned rolled oats
  • ½ cup all-natural nut butter ( I used peanut butter)
  • 2 scoops Cafe Latte Vegan Shakeology
  • 2 Tbsp. chia seeds
  • ⅓ cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp of hazelnut extract
Directions
  1. Combine peanuts, oats, nut butter, Shakeology, chia seeds, hazelnut extract and maple syrup in a medium bowl; mix well.
  2. Roll into eighteen balls, about 1-inch in diameter each.

7 Days of Shakeology

Helping To Curb Your Holiday Cravings

Starting on Monday December 12th I will be kicking off a 7 days of Shakeology challenge. This is for those have have been wanting to try out the product but are not quite ready to commit to an entire months supply.

During those 7 days we will be trying a new recipe each day. I will share some of my favorites that will hold a close second to your favorite christmas cookies. In addition we will be working on improving some of your nutrition habits and even doing a few mini workouts that I will be creating for the participants.

My hopes are that you are able to enjoy the benefits of something that has given me more energy and cut out my junk food cravings. During this time of year I have a feeling it's just what you need.

The group will start on Monday December 12th and wrap up on Sunday December 18th. Hopefully I can help you over come a few holiday temptations and maybe even help you lose a pound or two that week. While Shakeology is not just about something that can help with weight loss, it is a nice little side effect.

Please send me an email with the subject line SHAKEO letting me know you would like a space in the group. I will be in touch within 24 hours to let you know what your next steps are.

Wishing you a healthy and happy holiday season!

Chocolate Shakeology Truffles

Believe it or not I actually HATE baking. Everything I make only ever turns out "so so" and I always make a huge mess of the kitchen. Cooking I am fine with, baking not so much. Very rarely will you find me making baked goods.

The other day I challenged my clients in my challenge group to create some Shakeology recipes that were not just drinks rather desserts and treats make with these yummy superfoods. I decided I couldn't offer up the challenge and not try it myself so I put together some chocolate truffles.

Oh man did they ever turn out great!! This one was easy. Didn't make a mess of my kitchen and lasted for a few weeks in the fridge. Give it a try if your craving something sweet but don't want to fall off the clean eating wagon completely.

Ingredients
  • 1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
  • 1/2 scoop Beachbody Performance Recovery (or chocolate protein powder)
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 3 TBSP pure maple syrup
  • 3 TBSP almond milk
  • 1 TBSP coconut oil
  • 1 TSP vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Directions
Mix first 8 ingredients together in bow

Heat last ingredient (chocolate chips) in pot on stove until melted (or in microwave- approx 2 min)

After first 8 ingredients are mixed, make balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place on cookie sheet on parchment paper

Put balls in fridge for 15 minutes

After chocolate is melted, take balls out of fridge and dip using spoon or toothpick so the chocolate covers a light layer around ball and place back on parchment paper.

Put balls back in fridge for 10 minutes

If you have remaining chocolate, you can drizzle lightly across balls to make it look pretty.

Put back in fridge for 5 minutes

Serve and enjoy!!

Shakeology Ice Cream Sundae

Chocolate Covered Cherry Chip with Coconut

smoothie bowls, shakeology, shakeology recipes, chocolate shakeology, shakeology ice cream

On most days you will find me drinking my Shakeology as a "shake" in the afternoons between my afternoon snack and dinner time. It's what helps to keep away my cravings and it is also what helped me to eliminate most all junk foods.

BUT sometimes a girl just craves some ice cream in the middle of the day. Lucky for me I can change the consistency of my Shakeology by using a little more ice and frozen cherries. It turns the consistency to that of frozen custard. I like to give it a few toppings and eat it out of a bowl. It's almost like having an ice cream sundae. This totally did the trick for my ice cream cravings and tasted amazing.

Here is how I made it.

Ingredients
1 scoop of chocolate Shakeology
10 ounces of water
4 ounces of vanilla almond milk
1/2 cup of frozen cherries
10 ounces of ice
Chocolate chips
Shaved coconut

Directions
Combine ingredients in blender and mix for one minute.
Pour into a bowl and top with shaved coconut chocolate chips and a few whole cherries.

Enjoy!
