Could I Be Your Mentor?

The Search Is On.... Looking For New Coaches

beachbody coach training, coach mentoring, successful beachbody coach, how to be a successful beachbody coach, sarah griffith, top beachbody coach,

I am rolling out a brand new two month mentoring program and the search is on to find my next 5 new coaches for my team - Team Fit & Fabulous. I will be taking application and conducting short interviews to find the perfect fit and group of women to work with.

I am hoping to keep this mentoring group small intentionally. These five women are going to get a lot of individual training time with me so they can learn to build their business faster. As you know my background is in business. As a former business education teacher mentoring these types of groups is one of my favorite things to do as a coach.

The two months will be laid out like this. The first month I will be devoted to helping them get results as challengers. They will be in my October challenge group working to get their own results and transformation from using a Beachbody program of their choice and drinking Shakeology. For that month they will watch what I do as a coach and learn the basics of running a challenge group. This will prepare them for leading their own in the coming months.

Month two they will still have an open invitation to be a challenger in my group, but I will also begin training them as a coach. We will do a month long training with SHORT daily activities to teach them how to build their business on social media. I will do a weekly mentoring call with these women as well.

I have been working as a coach for over two and a half years. One of the biggest lessons that I have learned is that the best coaches are the ones who are challengers first. You can't be passionate about something that you have never tried. It has to have worked for you first before your going to start seeing success. Those coaches who come into the business that way are often the ones who have the most success.

If your apprehensive about this opportunity, I get it. I was too but I don't want you to be. I want you to stop watching, stop considering it but not acting on it. I just want you to say I'm going for this. While you will find is a change to improve your own health from a fitness and nutrition standpoint, you'll gain new friends and also get a chance to LEARN SOMETHING new and hopefully if you do it right begin to earn an income for yourself. My mentoring group will kick off on Monday October 10th. Please reach out to me to be considered for one of the five spots that I have open.

Leadership Retreat - Destin FL

Why do Beachbody Coaches Get To Travel So Much?

As a coach one of the major perks of this lifestyle is the traveling. Since January my coaching adventures have taken me to Pittsburgh, a cruise to the Bahamas and Jamacia, Nashville, Deep Creek, MD and now as of last week Destin, FL.

My friends and family often joke with me asking where I am off to next month and I understand why. I do travel a lot because of coaching and man is it ever a lot of fun. Prior to coaching we took one trip a year and occasionally had a weekend away. This new lifestyle has lead to so much more fun and opportunity to travel the world while meeting up with others who have similar goals as I do. While we often come together hardly knowing one another we often leave these events as great friends.

This past week I got brave and traveled alone. I drove myself three hours to the airport alone, flew by myself including two layer overs and ubbered it to my location 40 minutes from the airport. As nerve wracking as it was to be traveling alone like that, I was proud that I got myself there and back without any troubles.

Enjoyed this book while I spent lots of time in the airports
I landed on Wednesday and stayed until Sunday. We were in Destin for the Dream Team leadership retreat. It was hosted by my upline coach and some of the other top coaches from the team. We each had our own little mansion by the sea to stay in with our teams. Talk about a week of living it up. Here is a little bit of what all we did when we were there.

Wednesday - Traveled all day and dinner when I got there. I made it just in time to see the sunset.

Such a breathtaking view
Thursday - Beach day all day with the girls. We did a group workout in the morning and ran a few errands that evening but mostly we just relaxed all day together. It was my favorite part.

Friday- We worked out as a group that morning, worked out business and then went out to be on the beach that day. Around lunch time I came in and showered. I had to head over to the other house to meet the hair and make up team along with the photographer to get ready for my business photo shoot. That night we all participated in the "pineapple olymipcs" on the beach. There were over 100 of us taking part in relay races. Man did we ever have fun. We were all covered in sand but really loved that event a lot. We also had a training with corporate over at our house. Our speaker had so many incredible take aways about living life with intention.

Still drinking our Shakeology... even on vacation :)
SQUAD GOALS

Glam team

Saturday This was one of our busy days. First we worked out then quickly got ready because we had a training from 9 - 12 that morning. After a lunch break we were back at it with more trainings from 1 - 4 pm followed by team pictures on the beach. That night we went home and got ready. We went out as a team for Mexican food and ate like queens.

Sunday - I made the mistake of thinking a 5:00 am flight was a good idea. I wanted to be home early enough to get to spend the day with my boys. I did not however take into consideration that I would have to leave at 3:00 am to be on time at the airport... yikes. Needless to say momma was tired after that.

This picture pretty much sums up my trip to Destin.

Laughter
Lots and lots of it. Better than any ab workout around and good for your soul.
This was the stuff that they don't tell you that comes along with building a business as a coach. The friendship and the fun!

I hope you don't see all of these posts that I make about coaching and think to yourself. I could never do that. In fact I hope that you think just the opposite. I hope you look at me and say if she can do it why couldn't I. You see I am no different than you. There is nothing special about Sarah Griffith. She's just a mom who decided it was time for some changes in her life. She took a chance, believed in herself and was willing to outwork everyone else. After two years of helping others my life is now forever changed. Because of coaching, I am now moving on to write a new chapter in my book. One that I never though would have been possible before.

You see, last year I took a job that changed the direction of my life. It was a job of great influence and lots of responsibility and what I thought was the next big step for my career. At 28 years old I was placed in the position as the Dean of Students at the school that I had taught at for the last seven years. All signs pointed to success. I had a beautiful family, a gorgeous home, a very comfortable income and a job I was proud of.

Except something happened during that year. I woke up one morning and looked in the mirror and realized I hated who I was becoming. I was always worried, beyond stressed, under appreciated and exhausted. The job that seemed so great on the outside didn't feel so great on the inside anymore. I put on a great front like I enjoyed it. I showed up with a good attitude and I'd like to think that I did a great job. But the trouble was my heart wasn't in it anymore.

I can't say making the decision to leave was an easy one. Major life changes never are, but I can tell you after lots and lots of prayer and soul searching I'm right where I'm supposed to be right now. Will my new career be forever or just a season in my life? Who knows? I thought I would spend the rest of my life in education and that seemed to change so maybe someday that will happen again. But for now I have the utmost faith that today I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be.

It takes great courage to decide to change the direction of your ship but learning to sail in new waters can be an absolutely breathtaking scene.

Life is beautiful. I believe opportunities are put in your life for a reason. If you don't like where your ship is sailing anymore. Put your anchor down. Pray about it look around and then decide to explore a different direction. ⚓️ My ship is sailing towards less stress, more freedom, more family time and more happiness.

My heart will always thrive on serving others, but my vessel to do it looks a lot different now. I'm learning to love the person in the mirror again. She's fought really hard to become her and she's proud that she followed her heart.

******************************************************************************************************************************************************************

If your still reading this and your STILL thinking to yourself my goodness coaching seems fun. I ask you to stop. Simply stop. Stop doubting yourself, stop watching and start doing. I have very few regrets about becoming a coach but my number one regret is that I watched my coach for as long as I did before starting. I want to have you in my tribe. I want you to experience the fun and the lifestyle and the happiness that comes along with coaching. I want you to be brave enough to try.

Please fill out the application below if you would like more information about becoming a coach on Team Fit & Fabulous. I will be kicking off my new coach mentoring program and would love to work with you.

pumpkin chilli, chilli, fall dinners, crockpot dinner, crockpot chilli, pumpkin everything, pumpkin recipes, pumpkin dinners, sarah griffith

When your 4 year old sits down to eat pumpkin chili with you for dinner you start to really take a step back.

It's in those moments I begin to realize what a powerful life lesson I have taught to him over the last few years.

He really does eat clean and the best part is that on most days he actually likes it too.

Paleo Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

Forget Starbucks... Make this instead

fall baking, paleo, paleo muffins, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin chocolate chip, gluten free muffins, sarah griffith,
I'm a huge fan of Starbucks fall desserts. Bad habit I know and one that I have stopped but I still crave all the pumpkin treats I know they have there right now. Instead of going there for them I decided I would make my own. A friend of mine had shared this recipe with me a few weeks ago and I had been wanting to try it.

It's gluten free and paleo which is awesome because I have Hashimotos diease and have chosen to eliminate gluten because of it. (I feel like a million bucks without it by the way).

My little one helped me make it. He thought it was hysterical when I allowed him to rub the coconut oil on his skin while we were cooking. I told him that sometimes people put it on their skin for lotion. he didn't believe me and thought it was hysterical. Fun little life lesson while baking with him.

These will turn out great. I hope you love them. They will be moist. I doubled the recipe that is listed below and it made about a dozen. If you just follow this recipe it will only make about 5 muffins.

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup pumpkin puree
  • ⅓ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
  • 3 eggs, whisked
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup coconut flour
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ⅛ teaspoon powdered ginger
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • ½ cup Enjoy Life Mini Chocolate Chips

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  1. Mix together wet ingredients in a bowl: pumpkin puree, maple syrup, coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  1. In another bowl, whisk together coconut flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, ground cloves, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  1. Pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix well.
  1. Fold in chocolate chips.
  1. Scoop batter into lined muffin tins
  1. Bake for 35-40 minutes
Enjoy!!! Recipe originally found from the Paleo OMG blog.

Grilled Chicken Peach Caprese

Perfect For Peach Season

grilling season, peach recipes, grilled peaches, caprese recipes, peach caprese, sarah griffith, top beachbody coach, gluten free dinner recipes, 30 minute meals,
This was the absolute best time of year to be making this dish. We love peach season in our house and I love getting creative with how we will use it. I have been a caprese junkie this summer with tomatoes but wanted to change it up with peaches instead.

This was extremely easy to make and one of my new favorite dinner ideas. We served it over brown rice but you could pick any side to make with it in addition.

Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
8oz of fresh mozzarella
Olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste
3 ripe peaches
Fresh basil chopped - I like to cut mine making it into "ribbons"
Balsamic vinaigrette

Directions
Trim fat from the chicken breasts and cut breast in half
Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Cook on the grill until golden brown.
While grilling warm 1/2 cup of balsamic vinegar in a small pot on the stove
Once chicken is finished grilling melt the mozzarella cheese over the chicken while still on the grill.
Remove chicken from the grill
Top with sliced peaches (I tried to do two pieces per chicken breast.)
Finally drizzle balsamic over the chicken and top with the basil ribbons.

Enjoy! It will easily become a family favorite.

Country Heat Results

Turns out you really can dance the weight off

Country Heat Results, Womens Country Heat results, weight loss after a miscarriage, sarah griffith, country heat, country heat transformation,

When you see these before and after pictures I know many of you won't believe that I looked this way just 30 days ago. I have already taken slack from the "nay-sayers." So far I have heard - surely you did not look like that did you? Were you just pushing your stomach out? WHEN was that picture taken? While I understand why some might think those things the reality is. I was not "pushing it out." I did look like that and the pictures are recent - I took them the last week of July.

Now you might be thinking okay I guess she really did have some work to do but how? She posts about all of this healthy eating, drinks those shakes and says she exercises every day why did she look that way?

Incase you're just walking in on this chapter I will quickly catch you up to speed. After two and a half years of dealing with infertility my husband and I found out we were expecting this past February. We were over the moon excited and astonished. God finally answered our prayers. Sadly at the end of April we learned that they baby no longer had a heartbeat. It brought us right back to a place of a lot of sadness and unanswered questions. I had surgery to remove what remained of the pregnancy and we began to put one step in front of the other and try to heal from all of the emotions.
Country Heat Results, Womens Country Heat results, weight loss after a miscarriage, sarah griffith, country heat, country heat transformation,

My moods changed often. Some weeks I was fine, some weeks I wasn't and some weeks I tried to act like it never happened. I guess it was my minds way of healing. Even though I was putting on a great front, I was still very sad. I allowed myself to eat whatever I wanted when I wanted. Carbs were comforting and so were lots of other junk foods. While I was still eating healthy in addition to that and still exercising my heart wasn't in it at all. I was just going thru the motions.

It wasn't until the middle of July that I decided enough was enough. I needed rid of the "belly" that I was carrying around that no longer had anyone growing inside of it because each day I would feel it or glance down at it was a painful reminder of what no longer was there.

Beachbody had just came out with a new program called Country Heat. I was not a fan of dancing but I was a fan of results and the test group results were killer. I almost didn't believe the program could work that well in just 30 days so I decided that would be the program I would do as I began my journey to get back to me. I showed up each day for just 30 minutes. I drank Shakeology every single day. I never once lifted a weight or did any official ab exercies or even anything in addition to those daily workouts. My nutrition was 80% great. We traveled a few times during this time period so I had some treats and a few too many cocktails here and there but I gave it my best.
Country Heat Results, Womens Country Heat results, weight loss after a miscarriage, sarah griffith, country heat, country heat transformation,

I am proud to say I am feeling SO much better. I have a little ways to go in my stomach but I don't look like how I did when I started and the best part is I don't feel the same either. I am feeling confident, fit and happy again.

This past week I decided it was time for me to work on leaning out and building more muscle. I will be doing 60 days of Hammer and Chisel which will take me up until November. In November Core de Force launches and I will be doing that program. It is a cardio kickboxing/ MMA style program. Stay tuned for some killer results.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and to understand that just because I am a coach does not mean I don't have struggles too. It's just that I am choosing to overcome them.

Are you struggling with unwanted weight gain like I was for whatever reason? I would love to help and truly feel like I can relate to you. Please fill out the application below if you would like to be considered for my next challenge group.

Better Mornings For Busy Women

busy moms, tricks for better mornings, how to have a better day, back to school organization, better mornings, sarah griffith, top beachbody coach,

I wanted to put this FREE event out there to all of my social media followers.

I am going to be putting together a 5 day group for women who are looking to have more calm instead of chaos in the mornings. In the group I will share some of my best tips and suggestions on how to have a better start to your day.

Why is this something you want to master? Because the first hour of your day sets the tone for how the rest of the day will go. Why not learn how to do mornings better? If your anything like I was when I was working full time trying to get my little guy off to school, mornings looked more like a hurricane than anything. It was something that I struggled with SO badly and have finally figured out how to set the tone for a beter day.

If this is something you are interested in being a part of head on over to the event and click "going" so you see the posts! Your welcome to invite your friends as well.
This will be the link you will want to use to join.
